This policy defines the specific archival durations for various data categories. We commit to retaining your details only for the minimum timeframe required to provide digital ledger services, prevent fraudulent activities, and comply with Indian statutory limitation periods. Once these objectives are met, your data is either securely sanitized or permanently deleted.
2. Classification-Based Retention Schedules
We categorize collected data into three tiers to manage their lifecycles effectively:
Tier 1: High-Turnover Verification Data (Transient)
Scope: Call log signals, camera captures, and coarse location metrics.
Protocol: These records are treated as temporary. Call log data used for automated login is flushed immediately after the session; we only maintain a cryptographic proof for 6 months to address potential disputes. Images and regional location data are purged from our active systems within 30 days of your last service interaction.
Tier 2: System Security & Stability Analytics (Intermediate)
Scope: Installed application lists, software crash reports, and device hardware specs.
This information forms a "Security Baseline" for your account. Application inventory snapshots are updated upon login, and historical logs are archived for 3 years for anti-fraud modeling before being scrubbed. Technical telemetry is generally stored for 12 to 24 months to optimize app performance.
Tier 3: Essential Identity & Legal Records (Long-Term)
Scope: Registered mobile number, email address, account identifiers, and emergency contacts.
These foundational records remain active for the life of your account. Per Indian financial regulations (including PMLA mandates), certain identity-related data must be preserved in a "Restricted Access" state for 5 years following account closure for regulatory auditing.
3. Exercising Your Right to Erasure
We provide clear pathways for you to manage your data footprint:
- Manual Deletion Request: You can trigger a full account deletion by emailing business@sankarilabh.com from your verified email address. Validated requests are processed within 15 business days. Upon processing, Tier 1 and 2 data are wiped immediately, while Tier 3 data is encrypted and held until the legal retention window expires.
- Automated Dormancy Policy: Accounts showing zero login activity for 18 consecutive months are marked for automated purging. We will send a final alert 30 days prior to the deletion. If no action is taken, all non-mandatory data will be permanently removed from our servers.
